Yep, after the many rumors and speculation, it’s official. All you PS3 owners will be getting Bioshock in October. Fresh new content and updates “that will make this a must-have game for its new audience, as well as for those who enjoyed it on the other platforms” are also on tap for this release. Let’s see if the new content will be enough for a repeat to trip to rapture.

One of my most anticipated games, Prototype by Sierra, is now delayed until 2009. That’s a bummer but I guess I’d rather have a great game than a half-finished one. Let’s hope they use the extra time wisely.

The new Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures website is live featuring art, wallpapers, screenshots, forums, game info and more. You need to “find” treasure in order to download any of the wallpapers, avatars, etc. But it’s super easy. This game should appeal to any Lego Star Wars fan. Ubisoft announced that there will be a new Prince of Persia to be released this Fall. It will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. As someone who has played almost all of the past games, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how they pull this on next gen hardware. The game should also come with a new illustrative art style.

According to LucasArts, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be hitting stores on September 16. The game is looking super nice. It’s currently available for pre-order on sites like Amazon.

The virtual world “Home” for the PS3 is once again delayed. Originally scheduled for a Fall 2007 release, it was delayed until Spring 2008. Well, as of today, it’s delayed again until this Fall.
”We understand that we are asking PS3 and prospective PS3 users to wait a bit longer,” Sony Computer Entertainment Chief Executive Kazuo Hirai said in a statement.
“But we have come to the conclusion that we need more time to refine the service to ensure a more focused gaming entertainment experience than what it is today.”
