Sierra Entertainment just released some free downloadable content for TimeShift. Called the Futures-Past Multiplayer Map Pack, it features five new multiplayer maps and 2 new multiplayer modes. Each map supports classic multiplayer modes: One-on-One, Deathmatch, and Team Deathmatch.
The download also includes two exclusive multiplayer modes, King of Time and Meltdown Madness.
The new Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures website is live featuring art, wallpapers, screenshots, forums, game info and more. You need to “find” treasure in order to download any of the wallpapers, avatars, etc. But it’s super easy. This game should appeal to any Lego Star Wars fan. It’s due to hit store shelves on June 3rd. Check out the video here:
Ubisoft announced that there will be a new Prince of Persia to be released this Fall. It will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. As someone who has played almost all of the past games, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how they pull this on next gen hardware. The game should also come with a new illustrative art style.
According to LucasArts, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be hitting stores on September 16. The game is looking super nice. It’s currently available for pre-order on sites like Amazon.

Unreal Tournament 3 is scheduled to launch this summer for the Xbox 360. The 360 version will sport some exclusive offerings:
two new characters
five new expansive maps
split screen capability
The biggest disappointment however is that Midway and Epic are saying that the Xbox 360 release won’t come with an editor for user-created content, which means you won’t be able to build custom maps, and also won’t be able to play any of the user created maps by PS3 and PC owners. That’s what I was looking forward to the most. Being able to build and play my own map on a console would be so sweet! Looks like I’m getting the PS3 version.
For those of you looking forward to the next Midnight Club game must be excited, Midnight Club: Los Angeles is set to hit the streets on September 9th in North America and the 12th in Europe for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
IGN recently posted a developer diary on the upcoming Backbreaker game. The video is pretty impressive and shows a mini-game called Tackle Alley.
“All the tackles are different and generated on-the-fly, so you never know what’s going to happen. But whatever does happen – you know it’s unique to you. No-one else will have seen the same 100-yard run before!” - Backbreaker Devs
