The Discovery Channel has announced that it will air the five hour mini-series documentary Rise of the Videogame as it looks at the history of the industry with tons of interviews with various game developers and industry insiders. The documentary will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 8 pm with new episodes running each Wednesday night.

TT Games, better known for the Lego Video Games, was just acquired by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group for the sum of approx. $210 million (spread over 5 years). I’m sure hoping for some Scooby Doo Lego goodness!
