According to LucasArts, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be hitting stores on September 16. The game is looking super nice. It’s currently available for pre-order on sites like Amazon.
Check out a video I found on GameTrailers showing off some of the lightsaber moves:
You’ll be playing as the apprentice of Darth Vader in this game. The first level is also supposed to have you playing as Darth Vader himself!
Finally, Square Enix releases their 2008 schedule and on that list is the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP. It’s set to release in the US on March 25, 2008.
This game has been very successful in Japan and has been out for some time there. Unfortunately there is no information regarding a European release date.

SEGA is working on a Phantasy Star game for PlayStation Portable called Phantasy Star Portable, due out in 2008.

That’s according to a report in the latest issue of Famitsu (picked up on by 1UP).
The game is being developed by Tales of the World developer Alfa System, and is described as “essentially a PSP version of Phantasy Star Universe, including expansion pack Ambition of the Illuminus” by those who’ve seen the story.
There will be new original stories too, apparently, and a four-player co-operative mode via ad-hoc wireless networking, although online multiplayer is not said to be planned.

Sony just released the PSP firmware 3.73. What new goodies are in this update you say? Well, not much really. Here’s what Sony has to say:
New for 3.73: Operation of the UMD drive has been improved to address cases in which the UMD drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data. Updating the system software to version 3.73 will resolve this issue.
